This method can be used for heating and shrink fitting gears, roller bearings, guide rings, shafts, rims and other machine parts. By using microprocessor controlled induction tools, the piece being worked on can be heated locally and in a regulated manner, also keeping the characteristics of the material in consideration. Heating for shrink fitting can be easily reproduced in space and time, so the resulting fitting is stronger than anything produced by other methods. Specific energy input is exceptionally efficient, resulting in low energy consumption and high productivity. Due to the characteristics of this technology there are no known risks to personal safety, property or the structure of the material being worked on. Induction heaters can be easily programmed and operated regardless of their capacity.
The heating inductor of the IS-G1 induction heater is located at the topmost horizontal surface of the machine body. The work piece, namely the bearing housing in this case, is placed inside the inductor. By using different size positioning units we are able to heat parts of different sizes. Operating the machine is simple.
It is turned on or off with a push-button, and heating time and intensity is set with the touch buttons next to the display.
This machine can be used for shrink fitting asynchronous, high performance, stationary motor parts via heating.
The stationary housing is placed inside the large inductor and heated according to preprogrammed characteristics in a way that heat is distributed evenly as required by the part's technical parameters, producing the expansion which ensures the formation of the assembly gap necessary for shrink fitting. The machine can be easily integrated into automated motor assembly lines.
The handheld energy
The equipment can be universally utilized for soldering, brazing, heat treating, straightening, pre-heating for welding and numerous other special heating tasks. It can replace open flame heating in a fast, precise, economic way. The outstandingly small size and weight of the machine allows it to be used for continuous handheld operation. This is especially useful for tight, hard or reach spots, both in handheld operation mode, or by mounting it to a light robotic arm. The advanced, intelligent controller system makes it capable to manage complex heating procedures, whilst holding the process firmly under control.
