In case of induction melting, the melting pot is surrounded by an inductor, excitation reaches the metal to be melted or a graphite insert through the wall of the melting pot. The technology can be used in many forms, depending on the size of the batch, the size of the insert piece, the characteristics of the materials, the required purity and minimization of energy consumption.
